Your resume stays private by default

Uploaded resumes never appear in public search unless you turn on public search visibility in settings.

Control when your resume appears

Private by default

Your uploaded resume is not listed in public search automatically.

You choose visibility

Turn public search on only when you want to be found.

Clear settings

Your profile settings show whether public search visibility is on.

Private uploads stay out of search

An upload creates a private resume record, not a public listing. Talent seekers can only find you after you turn on public search visibility.

  • Resume uploads do not appear in public search by default.
  • Talent seekers cannot browse your resume until you opt in.
  • Your settings show whether public search visibility is on.
  • Turn visibility off again when your search changes.

Your visibility is easy to change

Your profile settings include “List my profile in public search,” so you can check the exact switch before others can find you.

  1. Upload your resume; it starts as a private record.
  2. Open profile settings when you want others to find you.
  3. Turn on “List my profile in public search.”
  4. Return to the same setting to turn visibility off.

Active job search stays private

Because the public search switch is separate from uploading, you can keep browsing jobs, comparing roles, and preparing your profile before others can find you.
